Big
Listen 2005 was about questioning. From an early age, children will
start to ask questions and it is important that they have someone
they can rely on to answer the questions that are important to them.
Every family is different but the art of listening and having the
confidence to question is essential in each of them. In the spirit of our 'questioning' theme, we want families to be even more focussed on asking
questions and listening carefully to the answers. So speak to your
parents/carers or your children, your brothers or your sisters,
and see what you can do to get involved.
We have developed the following pages especially for families,
to help you have fun and get involved:
- Can you organise a family version of Mastermind? How about a
spelling test for your Mum? A sponsored room tidy for you, your
brothers and sisters? There are lots of ways you can get your
family involved in fundraising activities. The fundraising
pack will help you to plan and run your activities
- The Listening
Challenges page is about fun ways
you can practice your listening and questioning skills with your
family
- Help other families to get involved too by sharing your
ideas.

2005 summary. This brief document highlights the main topics
at last year's Big Breakfasts. It may be just what you need to help
you with new ideas...
