Every day, calls from around 2,300 children are answered
by ChildLine, however, the enormous demand for ChildLine's
service means that hundreds more children each day are unable
to get through and hear a message asking them to call again
later.
Here's your chance to help...
The BT and ChildLine partnership has been running for three
years and over that time we have raised a staggering £3.8
million with the help of people from across the UK. However,
there is still more that we want to do, including ensuring that ChildLine can answer every call for help from children and young people across the UK.
We need YOUR company to help
Fundraising doesn't have to be complicated. It can be simple
and fun. Can you and your colleagues organise an event to
raise money for ChildLine? It could be something as simple
as:
- Play word bingo with your colleagues and every time they
say a certain word, 50p has to go in the box
- An inter-departmental challenge of 5-a-side football
or netball
- How about charging your colleagues 50p to make them a
cup of tea or coffee? Whatever you do, please do write in
and tell us - we would love to hear what is happening across
the UK

to enable ChildLine to answer a young person's call for help.
